This notice explains the current private baseline. It will be reviewed before any public registration or paid service is introduced.
Who controls your information
Jelena Sergaciene, trading as TradeCrag, is the data controller. Contact: info@tradecrag.com. Address: 40 Havelock Road, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, NR30 3HJ, United Kingdom.
Information the service may process
- Authentication identity, including name, email address and account identifier.
- Profile, language and interface preferences.
- Trading journal records, strategies, notes, screenshots, account metadata and imported trading history.
- Support or administrative communications.
- Technical, security and diagnostic records needed to operate and protect the service.
Why information is used
Information is used to provide requested journal features, preserve the account and its records, respond to enquiries, maintain security, diagnose faults and meet legal obligations.
- Contract: to provide features requested by an authorised user.
- Legitimate interests: service security, reliability, fraud prevention and improvement.
- Legal obligation: where records or disclosures are required by law.
- Consent: where a future optional feature specifically asks for it.
Service providers and optional integrations
Necessary providers may process information for hosting, authentication, database and file storage, email delivery and security. When an authorised user deliberately uses an optional feature, relevant data may also be sent to that feature's provider, including OpenAI for AI analysis or MetaApi for a configured read-only broker connection.
International processing and retention
Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Appropriate transfer safeguards must be used where required. Information is kept only while needed for the service, account administration, security, dispute handling and legal obligations. Detailed retention periods will be finalised before public launch.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information, object to processing, receive portable data and withdraw consent. Email info@tradecrag.com to make a request. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Automated decisions
TradeCrag does not use AI analysis to make legal or similarly significant decisions about users. AI output is an analytical aid that requires human review.
